Insights & Niches

WHAT. My focus is on enriching travel experiences while covering lots of ground, exploring the interwoven fabric of culture, history, art, and beauty. There is always more beyond the brochure, and that is often where the fun, fascination, and human connection is found. Travel can be very personal, and when it’s really good, it nurtures you. I believe that resonates with people more than any copy can.

WHO. My demographic is versatile and gravitates towards adventurous sophisticated-bohemian. My niches tend towards cultural, wellness, nature & outdoors, art & the historical, exceptional lodging, and quiet lux. I often favor biking or walking friendly destinations. But who doesn’t love a good road, rail, or cruise adventure?

WHERE. Multi-destination, nuanced, and under-the-radar itineraries are great opportunity to tailor a dynamic story. I go in with a curious mind and come out with more puzzle pieces of the picture of life.

HOW. I welcome freelance writing and photography opportunities with a variety of outlets. I enjoy collaborating with Tourism, DMOs, and brands to create itineraries for inspired informative narrative experiences.

WHY. I like finding the poetry in travel. The substance of a good travel writer is the ability to adapt in the moment and follow the unfolding story. As it so in life, a detour can turn out to be the most amazing thing. So with ears, eyes, and heart open, go travel beyond the ordinary!
