I went into RiseNYC knowing next to nothing about the overall experience at all when I was invited for a preview. Beginning with a steep descent into New York’s underground, an homage to pivotal New York-centric characters and multimedia awaits guests with a labyrinth of galleries celebrating the many facets of New York City through the decades. From exhibits that pay tribute to iconic late-night entertainment, to groundbreaking MTV moments, to The Honeymooners and Sex and the City, all things NYC zeitgeist takes visitors on a nostalgic journey, culminating in a wide multisensory ride that will shift your adrenaline into high gear and never let you forget why you love New York.
The RiseNYC attraction is located on 45th Street in Manhattan and is open daily. Plan to stay at least an hour. There is a 40″ minimum height requirement. Ticketed reservations are available to book online, which is recommended during heavy tourist seasons. The attraction is one that, as a New Yorker, you want to bring your visiting family, friends, and colleagues to for an unforgettable time.
